Foundation publications are released free to read, download and cite, subject to standard academic citation conventions. Suggested citation format is provided with each publication. Republication of full reports without permission is not permitted; quotation and excerpting with attribution is welcomed.
Foundation datasets are released under CC BY 4.0 unless otherwise noted, requiring attribution and a link to the original source. Some datasets carrying privacy or safety risk may be released under more restrictive terms; these are clearly marked.
Use of DemTech Commons tools by partner NGOs is governed by the DemTech partner agreement signed at onboarding. The Foundation makes no commercial warranty regarding tool availability beyond the service levels stated in that agreement.
Foundation publications represent the considered analysis of the Foundation's research team based on the evidence available at the time of publication. They are issued in good faith. The Foundation accepts no liability for decisions taken in reliance on its publications.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad.
